Q1 Who will conduct the JEE main 2022 as there are many confusions?

Ans. As per the HRD minister’s notification now a newly formed committee NTA (National Testing Agency) will hold the JEE exam not the usual CBSE.

Q2 How will be the new JEE main 2022?

Ans. The new JEE main as conducted by NTA will be a fully computer based without any pen & paper mode of exam and it will also be conducted twice a year.

Q3. What is the eligibility to sit for JEE main?

Ans. The students who have studied physics, chemistry & maths and have scored at least 60% marks in that or are appearing for the exam are eligible to sit for the exam.

Q4. Is it mandatory to give the exam twice or can I give once? If I give the exam both the times, which score will be considered?

Ans.  No, this is the candidate's choice. Whether he/she wishes to give one attempt or two is entirely up to them. In case they have attempted both the exams, the better of the two scores will be used for the purpose of ranking in the merit list.

Q5. Do I require Adhaar Card to apply for JEE main?

Ans. Yes, all Indian students required having a valid 12 digit Adhaar Card number to apply for JEE Main but the foreign candidates & NRI students are exempted from this.

Q6. When will the registration process begin for JEE main?

Ans. The registration process for JEE main will begin in the month of September for JEE main 1 and for JEE main 2 it will start in the month of  February.

Q7. I made some mistakes in my JEE application can I correct it & how?

Ans. Yes, after the registration process is over they will provide a 1 week window in which students can make corrections to their details if something is filled incorrectly.

Q8. How can I prepare for JEE main & advanced I am in class 11th?

Ans. I would suggest you enroll in some online coaching & practice well to prepare for JEE main. There are also many coaching center from where you can prepare for JEE.

Q9. I am an NRI living in India I don’t have ADHAAR card can I apply for JEE?

Ans. Yes, you can easily apply for JEE as NRI students don’t need Adhaar card for JEE they require to provide their passport details in JEE application form.

Q10. How can I apply for JEE main & what is the registration process for it?

Ans. You can apply for JEE main through online mode from anywhere, you just need a computer & internet connection. The registration process will begin shortly.

Q11. What are the subjects which are asked in JEE?

Ans. The JEE main consists of three subjects which are Physics, Chemistry & Maths and there are25 questions from each subjects which are of 4 marks each.

Q12. What is the question paper pattern of JEE main?

Ans. The JEE question paper will consists 60 objective +15 numerical type questions, 20 objective+5 numerical from each subject viz. Physics, Chemistry & Maths. There will be 4 marks for each correct answer & -1 mark for every incorrect answer.

Q13. What is the application fees for JEE & how can I pay it?

Ans. The application fees for JEE Main is Rs 650 for general & 325 for reserved category candidates & girls also if you take both the exam it is Rs 1300 for general & Rs. 650 for reserved category candidates & girls you can pay the fees either through online payment or by Challan.

Q14. What is the syllabus for JEE 2022?

Ans. The main subjects which are asked in JEE are Physics, Chemistry & Mathsand there are 20 Objective + 5 Numerical questions from each subject for here is the detailed syllabus for JEE.

Q15. What is the counseling procedure for JEE?

Ans. After result of JEE is announced a joint online counseling is held for admissions into NITs & other CFIs & GFIs. Students after the result declaration need to register for the admission counseling.

Q16. What is the reservation quota in JEE?

Ans. The seats in institutions are reserved for candidates and the reservation category is as follows

27% reservation for OBCs, 15% for SCs, 7.5% for STs & 3% for PwD candidates.

Q17. What are the exam centers for JEE & how can I select one for me?

Ans. The exam centers for JEE are put in every state of India & other than that there are several other centers in foreign countries like, Colombo, Kathmandu, Singapore, Bahrain, Dubai, Muscat, Riyadh & Sharjah for NRI students.

Q18. Which books are best for JEE preparation?

Ans. JEE is a tough exam & you need to prepare well for it there are many books for JEE preparation you can find the list of best books for JEE here.

Q19. How will I get my JEE admit card?

Ans. You can download the JEE admit card from JEE website after it will be released, there will be no admit card sent to the candidate at his/her home address.

Q20. What is mode of examination?

Ans. The mode of examination is purely online it will be a computer based held at different centers in India & some cities in foreign.
