MHT CET Examination 2023
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2023, or MH CET 2023, is a state-level entrance exam administered by the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. Various undergraduate courses in Maharashtra are offered to qualified applicants through this entrance exam.
You are qualified for professional courses such as BTech, B.E, B.Pharm, B.Arch, and BSc after passing the examination. These courses are offered by government, private, aided and unaided institutions in the state of Maharashtra.

Key Highlight of MHT CET 2023
- It will be an offline exam for MHT CET 2023.
- Questions are multiple-choice in the exam.
- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology will be covered in the exam.
- There are 100 marks in each paper.
- Correct answers in mathematics awarded two marks, and correct answers in physics and chemistry awarded one mark

MHT CET 2023 Application Form

In the second week of February 2023, the application will be available online.

Candidates must fill out their application form completely and accurately.

The application form must be submitted by the second week of May 2023.

Candidates may submit the form online once they have correctly filled in all of the required information. When the correction facility opens, students will be able to correct their mistakes.

Correctional service will be provided in specifics in the third week of May 2023.

MHT CET 2023 Application Fee

In the case of general Maharashtra state-belonging candidates, outside Maharashtra state candidates and J&K migrants as well as NRI/PIO, the fee structure is Rs. 800.

Applicants belonging to backward categories and to Maharashtra State are required to pay Rs 600/-.

MHT CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must be a citizen of india.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or 2nd PUC or any equivalent examination from a board recognised by the Indian government.

Appearing: Those preparing for the 12th grade may also apply.

Qualifying Subjects: Students must have completed the 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology from a recognised board.

Minimum marks: Students must have 45% in PCM/PCB subjects to qualify (45% for reserved categories).

For the academic session 2023-24, the Maharashtra State Government has drafted new rules for admission to BTech and other professional degree courses. According to the report, starting in 2023, class 12 marks will be considered along with MHT CET scores for admission to BTech and other courses. Class 12 and CET marks will be equally weighted.
MHT CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria for NRIs /OCI’s
Students who are NRIs, PIOs, or OCIs are only partially eligible for MH CET 2022. They only need to meet the following requirements:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or 2nd PUC or any equivalent examination from a board recognised by the Indian government.
- Additionally, candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks, or 150 marks out of 300, in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined.
- Qualifying Subjects: Students must have completed the 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology from a recognised board.
- You can apply for admission to unaided private engineering colleges/institutes if you are an NRI. There is only a LIMITED number of scheduled intakes available for NRI candidates.
MHT CET 2023 Syllabus
The syllabus for the examination will be designed and based on the 10+2 level and its numerous topics. The themes will range from physics to chemistry to biology to mathematics.

Mathematics Syllabus: Trigonometric functions, Trigonometric functions of Compound Angles, Factorization Formulae, Straight Line, Circle and Conics, Sets, Relations and Functions, Probability, Sequences, and series.
