KCET Exam Pattern
Karnataka Common Entrance Test is State level Examination for admission in engineering courses. KCET is a Pen-paper based exam. This Entrance exam is conducted in two parts. Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 consist of mathematics and Paper-2 has Physics and Chemistry as subjects. The duration of KCET is 4 hours where students have to complete both the exams in 120 + 120 mins respectively.
There will be objective-type questions that will give 1 mark for every correct answer and as there is no negative marking scheme so no marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
There is a total of 180 questions which are divided as 60 for Mathematics, 60 for Physics, and 60 for Chemistry.
