Admission process in Central University of Rajasthan
CURAJ offers four-year B. Tech degrees in three disciplines, which are named Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, and Biomedical Engineering.
There are two ways to take engineering admission in the Central University of Rajasthan either the candidate's clear JEE mains examination or they can apply for CURAJ which stands for Central University Common Entrance Exam. By qualify any one of the examination candidates will be eligible to take admission to the University.
Eligibility Criteria and NRI quota for Engineering Admission
First of all, Candidates must have completed their class 12th with science stream with the recognized board of India. Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as main subjects, and also candidates have to score more than. After clearing these eligibility criteria students have to apply for any of the entrance exams either JEE mains or CURAJ and pass it as per merit.
Candidates who are living abroad but are residents of India can also apply for the admission under DASA and CIWA quota. Central University provides a 10% seat reservation for the NRI students who want to take admission to Central University.

Eligibility criteria for Engineering admission category wise
- JEE mains- There are different eligibility criteria for different categories and students who fall in the respective category have to score accordingly. General and OBC candidates have to score 75% or more, 65% is for SC/ST category, and DASA/CIWA category students have to score equivalent to 60% or more to clear the JEE examination.
- CUCET- Students who are unable to crack JEE mains can also apply for CUCET which stands for Central University Common Entrance Test for admission in the Central University of Rajasthan. CUCET has different eligibility criteria as compared to JEE. For clearing CUCET General and OBC category have to score 55% minimum marks to obtain their place in CUCET where SC/ST category candidates have to score 50% and the student falls under DASA/CIWG category have to score 45% or more to take admission in CUCET.

About NRI Quota in CUCET
DASA which stands for Direct Admission of Students Abroad is a scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) for the admission of NRI students who are willing to take engineering admission and want to complete their graduation from the best engineering colleges.
Different colleges provide different seat reservation for NRI students and the criteria for NRI students in CURAJ is 10% which means that CURAJ has 10% seats reserved for the students who falls under DASA/CIWG category or for NRIs. Students have to clear JEE mains with at least 60% or CURAJ exam with 45% of marks to apply for admission in CURAJ.
