Fallacy well sold than reality!
Fallacy well sold than reality!
The days before the entrance exam is a horrific experience and moreover, it became a nightmare when Times of India printed unprecedented news just before the NEET exam 2018. Based on few assumptions the Times India just dragged some data and almost convinced the aspirants a wrong direction for getting the admission in the national medical colleges. Times of India allegedly hid the actual twist of getting the Medical admission after the NEET result out nationwide. By showing absurd percentage criteria the Times of India, to a great extent responsible for puzzling the Medical aspirants expectation.
Let’s dive into the exact lines by which the Times of India, print media created so much buzz-
On sharp 15th April 2018 just few days before the release of the admit card for NEET exam, an absurd statement from one of the most preferred newspapers of India ‘Times of India’ created a mammoth chaos in the conventional strategies of aspirants preparing for this year’s NEET exam. The statement confidently asserts the aspirants about a vague data regarding the minimum aggregate marks for an MBBS seat in the Indian Medical Colleges.
Percolating deeper into the statement regarding the minimum aggregate marks in NEET exam-
When we exaggerated the statement from Times of India, the fact that gone most bizarre is the ratio on which this print media threw light. The caption from the article on 15th April by the Times of India clearly states that “For an MBBS seat, you just need 5% in Physics, 20% in Biology”…Thus with this, the entire aspirants of NEET became puzzled. Obviously they had reacted pretty naturally; since seldom at first, can a reader show his/her doubts over a trusted print media.
What exactly the Times of India hid under this caption?
Like they said in the article of 15th April, that 5% percent for Physics and 20% for biology and moreover 10% in chemistry will be the minimum marks for the Medical aspirants attending NEET this year. Therefore according to this data, an aspirant has to secure his Medical seat in any college with minimum 35% in his NEET. But they tactfully hid the actual fact that a 35 percentile can hardly get a chance in Private Medical colleges throughout India and moreover for which they have to be wisely ready with a power pact donation for admission in Medical quota. Like last year this year also the minimum qualifying marks will also continue to be 50 % under General/OBC category, and approximately 40% percent under SC/ST category. Therefore the entire statement from Times of India has been exclusively molded based on the frequency of that 40% percent qualifying marks range. But still, the reality is hanging on that 50% percentile approach for admission in any National Medical College throughout India.
Moral of the incident!
Just focus on your preparation strategies while updating yourself trusting only on the official sites of the particular exams. Best of luck to all NEET 2018 aspirants!

All NEET aspirants want to study hard and ace the NEET test, we give our 100% but when it comes to the NEET faculty or NEET experts who are supposed to teach you further, is not qualified enough?
Having dealt with NRI students across the globe from major cities we found that students don’t have access to the required NEET teachers who are qualified to be a NEET Test Expert. Over a period of time student’s compromise with local tuition teachers or with school teachers, this results in achieving nothing.
