Latest Updates On SAT:

The new SAT exam eliminates the vocabulary questions and incorporates them in the reading questions. It tests your understanding of the meaning of the word in the context of its use in the passages. The new SAT exam still has Three main sections; the Reading section, Writing section and Mathematics Section. The last portion (Essay) is optional, though some schools require that you take it. Check with your school. But, the Reading and Writing scores will now be combined to a single score of 800, while the maths will still have a total score of 800. There will now be only Four answer choices, instead of five.
You will have a rough idea of the passages you will see come test day. According to the College Board, there will be
1. One US or World Literature passage
2. History or Social Science passages
3. Science passages
