Confused About How To Do NEET Chemistry Preparations?
If your answer is yes, then you are on the right page. So, keep all your doubts in a corner and follow us till the end of this article.
We are pretty sure that you will uncover many useful contents which will certainly be going to help you with NEET Chemistry Preparations.
NEET Chemistry is the easiest and most scoring subject than that of NEET Physics and NEET Biology, most of the students score well in chemistry and it improves their overall score.
Questions asked in NEET Chemistry are easy to moderate. With a little effort, one can dig out maximum marks in this subject.
In this article, we are going to highlight the important aspects of Chemistry:
Chemistry has three sub-sections which are: Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry.
Inorganic Chemistry contains a lot of direct questions. If you learn those chapters thoroughly then this section can be easily answered with confidence.
If you want to get the best score in Physical & Organic Chemistry for NEET then you should do regular and thorough practice for these two sections.
NEET Chemistry online courses:
Understanding NEET examination and test structure deeply, we have created Medical chemistry coaching online (Coaching Program) that will complement your NEET self-study at the same time.
All NEET Online courses are live and interactive sessions, unlike the recordings. We still believe what you learn in face-to-face interaction can never happen with anything else and absolutely there is no substitute for it.

NEET Chemistry Preparation Guidelines:
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is a difficult examination. Candidates might be looking for preparation tips to get qualified for the exam. A well-planned implementation always pays off.
We are sharing some preparation guidelines for all three sections of Chemistry that you must follow to score well.
NEET Physical Chemistry
Let’s talk about Physical Chemistry:
- It is always recommended to make a strong command of the NCERT book.
- Practice previous year's papers to understand the paper pattern and the type of questions asked.
- As per the paper trend, the chances of numerical questions are more as compare to theory-based questions. Hence, clear all your concepts as one can solve numerical if his/her concepts are clear.
- Make a list of formulas and memorize them on regular basis.
NEET Organic Chemistry
Mugging up reactions is not going to help. Understanding the relation between the input and the output of the reaction will be a great help for you. The basic things, you need to remember are:
- Atomic and molecular orbital, how they interact. VSEPR theory and their applications; the VBT and MOT theories; dπ-pπ back bonding and anti-bonding orbital; LCAO in MOT theory; formation of pi and sigma orbits; other concepts of basic bonding theory, hybridization, formal charges and how to find them.
- Chemical and atomic properties of halogens, chalcogens, and nitrogen groups. The concepts of acidity, the basicity of acids, and basics like Lewis type, Bronstead type, etc., and knowledge of their salts like NaCl, KCl, etc obtain you great points.
- Learning the properties of AlCl3, HgCl2, concepts of charge density, atomic structure, and stoichiometric knowledge is mandatory.
- Kinetic Theory of Gasses, things like activation energy, how catalysts work, and some basic concepts of thermodynamics.
NEET Inorganic Chemistry
- Inorganic chemistry is one branch of chemistry where memory plays a relatively more crucial part when compared to logic. You need to remember the trends of various blocks and questions are generally asked regarding the properties of a block or a group of elements along a period.
- The best way to prepare for Inorganic Chemistry is to practice through the NCERT book followed by some standard textbook for MCQs.
