Karnataka Deemed Medical Colleges NRI Quota Seats & Fees

Kasturba is two cities. Manipal last published 38 MCC NRI seats. Mangalore last published 37. They do not share one reporting desk or one fee letter. JSS Medical College, Mysuru last published 38 NRI seats at USD 46,000 a year on the college 2026 fee guidelines. Sri Devaraj Urs in Tamaka, Kolar last published 30 MCC NRI seats. Rajarajeswari on Mysore Road, Bengaluru last published 38 MCC NRI seats (code 200469).

MS Ramaiah is not on that MCC list. Last published door is KEA Category C: 150 intake, 22 Category C seats, NRI / Others ₹45,00,000 on the college 2026-27 fee table. St John’s on Sarjapur Road last published no NRI row. It is a KEA Catholic-minority campus. A USA house that typed “St John’s NRI fee” is looking at the wrong product.

Last checked: 12 September 2026. Seat counts marked MCC are last published on the MCC 2025 deemed matrix. JSS dollars are last published on the JSS AHER 2026 fee guidelines. Ramaiah rupees are last published on the college 2026-27 table. None of these is a 2027 allotment letter. If the live mcc.nic.in or kea.kar.nic.in sheet moved, the live sheet wins.

One search box. Three different logins

A parent who registers only on kea.kar.nic.in will not see JSS, Kasturba, Kolar or Rajarajeswari NRI. A parent who registers only on mcc.nic.in will not see Ramaiah Category C. St John’s will not appear as an NRI choice on either list.

Hostel, mess, university and caution sit outside those headlines. JSS says so on the 2026 guidelines. MAHE splits caution from the program stack. Do not convert a four-year dollar total into an annual rupee and then compare it with Ramaiah’s yearly ₹45 lakh.

If a page still says 15 percent of intake, or quotes USD 45,000 for every Bengaluru name

Third-party pages still recycle a flat 15 percent and one USD line for every Bengaluru name. JSS is not 200 seats and 30 NRI at USD 40,000. Last published MCC and the 2026 JSS sheet are 38 NRI at USD 46,000, against a 250 intake. SDUMC is not 150 seats and 22-23 NRI at USD 30,000. Last published MCC is 30 NRI and 170 paid (200 total). Ramaiah is not 250 seats and 37-38 NRI at USD 45,000. The college table is 150 seats and a rupee NRI / Others line. Kasturba is not one Manipal campus with 37 seats at a flat USD 45,000. MCC prints two codes and two NRI counts. Those old USD lines are not a 2027 brochure.

Which login, and which papers

MCC deemed NRI. JSS, both Kasturba campuses, Kolar, Rajarajeswari. Register on mcc.nic.in under Deemed University. The NRI / sponsor file MCC asked for last cycle sits on the NRI eligibility page. JSS 2026 guidelines add a hard money rule: the USD tuition has to leave the sponsor account, with SWIFT proof. That is not a KEA Category C slip.

KEA Category C. Ramaiah only, on this six. kea.kar.nic.in. The college site still says 15 percent of seats for NRI / OCI / PIO / foreign / NRI-sponsored candidates, allotted by KEA, not by a walk-in at MSR Nagar.

KEA, and not NRI. St John’s. The live bulletin names Christian-minority and open-merit categories. A US passport does not create a chair. Some later writeups say NRI / OCI candidates are not eligible under any St John’s category. Read that year’s bulletin before you fly for document check.

NEET still needs the national age rule (17 by 31 December 2027 unless NTA reprints it), PCB, and a qualifying percentile. This page will not paste a second eligibility chapter.

What is distinctive about each campus

JSS Mysuru: 1984 deemed campus, not K.R. Hospital

JSS Medical College is a constituent of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research. Teaching sits with JSS Hospital (about 1,800 beds), not with government Krishna Rajendra Hospital. If the parent wants the 1924 government college in the same city, that is MMCRI on the government cluster page, and it has no dedicated NRI row. The 2026 JSS fee guidelines still print a small KEA column (13) next to 199 paid and 38 NRI. That KEA slice is not the NRI door. The NRI row is MCC, paid in dollars from the sponsor account.

Kasturba: say Manipal or Mangalore before you quote a fee

Both campuses belong to MAHE. Manipal (1953) trains at Kasturba Hospital, a large tertiary teaching hospital in Udupi district. Mangalore (1955) trains across KMC Hospital Attavar, Government Wenlock Hospital and Lady Goschen Hospital. A parent who booked a Mangaluru hotel for “Kasturba NRI” may have the wrong airport. MCC last published 38 NRI at Manipal and 37 at Mangalore. Use the live MAHE NRI schedule for the campus you actually want. Do not paste one USD 45,000 line onto both.

Rajarajeswari: Mysore Road Bengaluru, MCC, a Chennai deemed university

RRMCH sits at Kambipura on Mysore Road, not on the Kasturba coast and not at Ramaiah’s Gokula side of the city. The college is a constituent of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, a deemed university whose main campus is in Chennai. That is why MCC owns the 250 seats (212 paid + 38 NRI last published). Older blogs, and a leftover row on the Karnataka state page, still talk as if this were KEA Category C. Do not register only on kea.kar.nic.in for this building.

Ramaiah: 1979 Gokula campus, KEA rupees, not a deemed dollar desk

MS Ramaiah Medical College is in MSR Nagar, Bengaluru. The attached teaching hospital is Ramaiah Medical College Hospital. The college admissions page sends MBBS to KEA. The 2026-27 fee table prints Government (as per Karnataka order), Private ₹26,00,000, and NRI / Others ₹45,00,000 a year. There is no MCC deemed NRI row to choose here. A blog that still says 250 seats and USD 45,000 is describing a different kind of campus.

Kolar: Tamaka and R.L. Jalappa, not a Whitefield hop

Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College opened in 1986 as the medical college of SDUAHER. The teaching hospital is R.L. Jalappa Hospital at Tamaka, Kolar, east of Bengaluru on the Chennai road, not inside the city. Families who want a short drive from Kempegowda International Airport are not describing this campus. Last published MCC name is SDU Medical College, Kolar (200347). Do not mix it with a dental Urs title or with a 150-seat factory card.

St John’s: Sarjapur Road, minority KEA, no NRI product

St John’s Medical College is the Catholic minority campus on Sarjapur Road, under the St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, affiliated to RGUHS. Last published intake is 150. The college has said admissions go through KEA on NEET, including document verification. There is no labelled NRI quota and no management walk-in. The tuition looks cheap next to Ramaiah Category C because it is a different legal product, with category rules and, in some years, a service expectation the live bulletin restates. If an agent offers a St John’s NRI seat, stop the call.

If you still want a labelled NRI row after this six

Keep MCC open for JSS, Kasturba, Kolar and Rajarajeswari, plus the other Karnataka deemed names on the state page (KLE, Yenepoya, Siddhartha, BLDE). Keep KEA open for Ramaiah and for Category C names such as Vydehi and Kempegowda Banashankari. Take St John’s off any NRI shortlist. Government AIQ at Hubballi or MMCRI is a different, cheaper door on the government cluster page, and it is not an NRI row.
