Government Medical College, Suryapet is a government medical institution in Telangana functioning under KNR University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS). The college offers 150 MBBS seats every year, which are filled through All India Quota (AIQ) and Telangana State Quota counselling based on NEET-UG scores.
One important point for NRI families is that this college does not offer a separate NRI or OCI quota. There are no special NRI seats and no NRI fee category. NRI students can take admission only by securing a seat through the 15 percent AIQ seats or the State Quota (if they satisfy Telangana domicile rules).
In both cases, they pay the same government MBBS fee, which is about ₹95,000 per year.
There is no NRI quota in GMC Suryapet. Admissions are divided into only two categories:
| Category | Seats Available |
| Total | 150 Seats |
| NRI Quota | No separate NRI seats |
| All India Quota (AIQ) | Around 23 seats (15%) |
| Telangana State Quota | Around 127 seats (85%) |

2. All India Quota (15%)

3. Telangana State Quota (85%)
About 127 seats are allotted through KNRUHS State counselling. These seats are mainly for students who satisfy Telangana’s educational and domicile rules.
4. No NRI or OCI Quota
Government Medical College, Suryapet does not have:
