AFMC(Armed Forces Medical College), a government medical college manage by the Indian armed forces. Located in the heart of Pune city in the state of Maharashtra. One of the oldest colleges in India established its undergraduate section in August 1962. Every year many students compete for admission in this college even the NRI students from outside India. NRI Eligibility For AFMC
Age – Applicant must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission.
Academic Requirement – The candidate must have at least 60% of marks in the three science subject, that too must be cleared in the first attempt.
A candidate should be a citizen of India, NRI, or be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan or any other foreign country with the intention of permanently settling in India.
NRI Seats And Fees in AFMC
The college had a standard intake of 130 students. But MCI had increased to 150 seats including SC/ST in 2018. Out of 150 seats, 5 are reserved for NRI students. NRI Fees in AMFC and cutoff details are mentioned in the table below.

NRI Admission Procedure for AFMC
The admission will be based on the performance in NEET score, ToELR, Psychological Assessment Test, and Interview.
The candidates shortlisted at the final stage of the admission process are called for admission.
Verification of the candidate will be done at the time of admission.
ToELR stands for Test of English Language Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning. It consists of 40MCQs and that too be in a limited time span(30 min); 4 marks for each question and 1 negative for incorrect answer.
After the ToELR, the next step is to give a Psychometric test and interview. This test consists of 50 marks.
The final admission will be decided based on the total marks from both exams.
