Many of these private institutes conduct their exams, or they offer direct admission into the college. NRIs & Indian students can also take admissions into these colleges.

This direct admission is done based on 12th marks, or it is done through management quota. Under management quota, students need to pay more than the usual fees to be admitted into the college.

Another option is spot admissions, conducted by even government colleges, where the last vacant seats are filled up by on the spot admissions.

VIT provides admission to candidates based on the VITEEE score and also provides direct admissions through management quota, but there are very few of the latter seats.
