About NIT Surathkal
This college was established in 1960, as part of a planning scheme in India. It is one of the best engineering colleges in India. It’s one of the top engineering colleges in Karnataka. The college offers 32 pg and ug courses for students. It offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, M.sc courses as well as an MBA course. It’s one of the most active placement cells within engineering colleges in Karnataka.
Its rank is 57 overall and 21st among engineering colleges according to the 2018 NIRF Rating. It’s considered excellent academics.
