Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) is the premier undergraduate engineering course of NIT Puducherry. The admission to B. Tech course is through JEE Main then JoSAA, CSAB, DASA, and CIWG counselling depending on the student’s eligibility.
Tuition Fee of Normal Category (Regular B. Tech. Students): ₹62,500 per semester for General, OBC, and EWS categories. Additional fees such as hostel fee, exam fee, student activity fee, mess fee are charged separately. SC, ST, and PwD students will be exempted from paying tuition fee as per the Government of India rules.

DASA-2027 will be coordinated by one of the NITs (as officially stated on the DASA portal). The conducting NIT for 2027 is yet to be confirmed, and the official DASA Brochure 2027 will be released shortly after the announcement. Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programs under the DASA scheme for 2027 will be based on JEE Main Score 2027, including for NRI students living in the USA and Middle East applying under CIWG/DASA quota.

The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme is the major scheme adopted for the admission of NRI, OCI, PIO, and foreign national candidates for admission to the B.Tech programme at NIT Puducherry.
