The fee structure of NIT Kurukshetra will be dependent on the type of admission and admission mode. For students admitted through JoSAA/CSAB, they need to pay fees as recommended by the institute. On the other hand, NRI, OCI, PIO, Foreign National, and CIWG applicants through DASA have to pay fees as per DASA rules. B.Tech is among the highly popular undergraduate programs in engineering offered at NIT Kurukshetra. Admission of Indian candidates is done via JEE Main and subsequently JoSAA/CSAB counseling, while admissions of NRI, OCI, PIO, Foreign National, and CIWG candidates are done via the DASA scheme depending upon the score of JEE Main.
The Indian students who are admitted via JoSAA/CSAB have to pay the prescribed fee structure. Candidates who apply via the DASA scheme have to pay DASA registration fee along with tuition fees.

The NRI students from the countries like USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Singapore, UAE, and other qualified countries can register under the DASA Non-SAARC Category. The students having parents as Indian nationals who work in the Gulf countries that qualify for this category can apply for this scheme, and it has lower fee charges than the DASA Non-SAARC category.
DASA-2026 will be coordinated by one of the NITs (as officially stated on the DASA portal). The conducting NIT for 2026 is yet to be confirmed, and the official DASA Brochure 2026 will be released shortly after the announcement. Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programs under the DASA scheme for 2026 will be based on JEE Main Score 2026, including for NRI students living in the USA and Middle East applying under CIWG/DASA quota.
The procedure for admission to B.Tech programmes at NIT Kurukshetra by NRI, OCI, PIO and foreign national candidates is done according to the DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) scheme.
DASA admissions are offered depending on the JEE Main 2026 score obtained by the candidate. The seat allocation is done depending on the JEE Main Rank, DASA category, branch preference and seats available during DASA counseling.
