IIIT Ranchi B.Tech is considered one of the most popular engineering courses among Indian and foreign engineering students. Indian students get admission based on the rank secured in the JEE Main examination and then go through JoSAA/CSAB counselling, while the admissions of NRI, OCI, PIO, Foreign National, and CIWG students take place via DASA depending on the JEE Main rank.

Besides B.Tech courses, the IIIT Ranchi college also provides M.Tech courses in certain fields of engineering and technology.
