Answer 1: Every NIT has some quota for NRIs. It calls DASA and every year admissions are taken through this quota..
Answer 2 : Yes, NRI admission is possible in NIT Hamirpur. They have total 28 seats reserved under DASA/CIWG quota.

5. Latest passport size photograph in JPG format,
6. Scanned signature of applicant in JPG format,
7. Scanned copies of relevant documents.
Students applying under the CIWG quota. They will need the below documents.
1. Copy of the passport of the parent working in the gulf.
2. Copy of Parent’s visa.
3. Copy of Parent’s Work Permit (If any).
4. Certificate from the company/organization as proof that the parent is working in the gulf country.
Answer10 : Candidates must born on or after October 01, 1995. DOB must be mentioned in the Secondary Education Board or University Certificate (Class X or equivalent) will be only considered as eligible for exam.
