The fees payable at IIIT Una depends upon the program, admission route, and mode of admission. The students who have been admitted to the institute through JoSAA/CSAB counseling are supposed to pay the fees as prescribed by IIIT Una. For the admission of candidates through the DASA (Direct Admission of Students Abroad) route, including NRI, OCI, PIO, and Foreign National candidates, DASA registration fee needs to be paid along with tuition fee, according to the latest DASA guidelines.

Admission in the B.Tech program of IIIT Una can be obtained by eligible candidates through both DASA Non-SAARC and CIWG (Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries). There are some differences between the two categories in terms of their eligibility criteria, tuition fee and admission benefits. The DASA Non-SAARC is a category which is designed for the NRI, OCI, PIO, and Foreign National candidates residing in countries like the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Singapore, UAE, and many others. On the other hand, CIWG is a category that applies only to the children of Indian nationals residing in eligible Gulf countries.
