DASA stands for Direct Admission of Students Abroad. It is a Ministry of Education scheme designed to provide eligible students living outside India with an admission route to participating technical institutes.
DASA Admissions for Under Graduate Engineering Courses (JEE Main Rank) Students apply through the official counselling process, submit their eligibility documents, fill out their institute and programme preferences, and are allotted seats based on rank, category, choice order, and availability.
DASA is not for IIT admission. IIT admissions are through JEE Advanced and JoSAA. DASA will be applicable for the institutes participating in the present official brochure & seat matrix.
