Government-funded technical institutions are popularly known as GFTIs. their admission process and the fee structure. All GFTIs in India are financed by the Government of India.
Admission to the Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) shall be made by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. Admissions to the list of GFTIs in India shall be made on the basis of merit obtained in the JEE Main-Joint Entrance Examination Main.
NRIs students can also take admission through the DASA / CIWG quota.

To participate in the JoSAA 2025 counseling scheme, candidates must first register online at the JoSAA official website. Candidates can access the site by entering their respective JEE Main exam roll numbers.
To register for JoSAA, candidates do not need to have any additional personal or academic information. All information will be taken directly from the student’s JEE Main and JEE Advanced application forms. Candidates must, however, update their contact information when applying for the centralised counselling process run by JoSAA.
