Tip 1. IB Chemistry SL/HL and common mistakes you need to avoid are as follows.

• Choose between SL and HL depending on your caliber. That judicial decision will carry you through the process smoothly.
• Have a thorough base on theory. You should be prepared to cover point to point on the entire span of the IB Chemistry syllabus. You have to learn in the right earnest. In case you have doubt do not hesitate to ask your colleagues, seniors, teachers or well-wisher. You need to refer to the textbooks more often.
• Be thorough in and out with the syllabus.  An in-depth knowledge shall help to face the examination with confidence. You may even have a copy of the syllabus printed and kept for ready reference.
• Annotate wherever you find necessary.
• You need to be consistent all through the year
• Be sure of definitions; there is no alternative to memorizing those definitions. Do the reverse engineering and revisions.
• Think big, be confident, and imagine yourself as a conqueror.
• Have a good hold on past question paper solving. At least the last five exam papers need to be analyzed. You will get a pattern of the questions and their recurrence.
