Rewa Engineering College Rewa (MP) formerly known as Government Engineering College or GEC Rewa, was established by the Govt. of MP in 1964. It is presently an associated college of Rajiv Gandhi Technical University Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and is approved by the AICTE. REC, Rewa offers B.E. degree courses in four disciplines namely - Civil, Mechanical, Electrical& Electronics. It also offers part time degree courses in Civil, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
The Institute has a high speed internet facility and campus wide LAN networking with 250 nodes. The college is also privileged to have a Centre of Excellence for Microsoft Technologies, established under the CM's declaration and MOU signed between Microsoft Corporation and Rewa Engineering College, Rewa. Apart from spacious class rooms and well equipped laboratories, the campus of the institute encompasses boy’s hostels, girl’s hostels and faculty quarters. Institute has a central library which has vast collection of books, and a large number of subscribed online and print journals. In addition, institute also houses various amenities such as Seminar Hall, Smart Class Room, Language Lab, Playgrounds, Indoor Sports, a branch of State Bank of India, Post office, Canteen, Common Rooms, Conference Rooms and office of Alumni Association.
