Placement
So, the placements at NSUT are very good; almost all big companies come to campus, and in the tech section, any student in and above the ECE branch can apply for placement; for example, at GOOGLE, students from CS, IT, MAC, and ECE can apply for a placement, and almost all major companies allow students from any branch to apply for placement. Now, the average package was about 9 - 10 lakhs per annum on paper, and the tech segment was around 13 - 14 lakhs, so the placements were excellent. And roughly 85-90 percent of students who applied for on-campus placements were hired; additionally, the lowest package offered was 3.5 lakhs per annum in 2017 and the highest package offered in 2021 was around 48 lakhs per annum.
Internships: Many companies provide internships after the second year, but you must be very active and good in academics to qualify. Only a few students receive on-campus internship possibilities, but you can also go off-campus, but you must be very good at your own talents to qualify for on-campus.
