The basic eligibility criteria are to be followed by candidates for admission, which includes students to clear their higher secondary examination (12th class) from a renowned examination board. Also, in order to appear for admission, the candidates have to attempt the JEE Main examination.
The selection criteria involve students to achieve a minimum score required for admission, which is based on the cut-off, to apply for JoSAA counseling, who are responsible for the final seat allocation of the selected candidate, on the basis of the JEE Main rank, availability of seats, category, and more factors.
NRIs eligibility for NIT Silchar admission
NIT Silchar has reserved some seats for NRI Students under DASA / CIWG quota. The deserving student with a good score in JEE Main and good knowledge is eligible for NIT Silchar admission.
