The reservation is provided at NIFFT, for SC/ST/OC-NL and Differently abled candidates under the reservation criteria. The candidates can apply for the reservation while filling out the application form, as there is no option later for any changes in the reservation, once the forms are filled. The seats are allocated as:

Points to remember:
- No provisional admissions. The reservation is applicable only if the valid certificate is under the student’s name.
- For Physically disabled students, it is necessary to attach the disability certificate, by a medical authority.
- The OBC Certification must clearly confirm the student to be from a non-creamy layer, and must not be older than a year.
