Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech at IIT Madras

Applicants must have finished their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics as their primary subjects from a recognised board of education.

In addition, applicants must have received at least 60% in aggregate in their 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination.

B.Tech Selection Criteria at IIT Madras

Candidates are admitted to the B.Tech programme solely on the basis of their performance in the JEE Advanced entrance exam, which is followed by the JoSAA Counseling Process.

The college threshold and the candidate's preferences for courses and colleges are used to determine seat allocation.
