The Delhi Technical University offers eight specialization courses for the B.tech program, for which students have to fulfill a criterion to apply for the entrance exam, which is the initial ingredient required for the admission process.

The student must have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the 10+2 board examination, or achieve the rank in the top 20 percentile. It is necessary to clear the JEE Main examination for selecting and applying for counseling.
Students can also apply for lateral admissions, completing the diploma through a recognized examination, and clearing the exam conducted by DTU itself.
The selection process involves the students taking admission basis on the JEE Main examination or clearing the DTU entrance examination.
B.tech NRI Admissions:
Foreign students/NRI/PIO students are eligible for admission through DASA (Direct Admission of Students’ Abroad), wherein JEE Main ranks would be considered for admission.
