Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), also known as Government Engineering College, Chandkheda (GEC Chandkheda) is a state-funded college situated at Chandkheda, in Ahmedabad city, India. VGEC is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University.

Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Ahmedabad was established in August 1994, with the objective of imparting higher education in various fields of engineering and technology. This institute is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college is administrated by the Commissionerate of Technical Education, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar, and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University. The college is named after Vishvakarman (Sanskrit for "all-accomplishing, maker of all, all-doer"), a personification of creation and the abstract form of the creator God and the presiding deity of all Vishwakarma (caste), engineers, artisans, and architects. He is believed to be the "Principal Architect of the Universe ", and the root concept of the later Upanishadic figures of Brahman and Purusha.
