For a student to be eligible for admission to NIT Durgapur, a few things are to be taken into consideration, which is as follows
- Candidate must complete 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, through a known examination board.
- Minimum 60% score to be secured for attempting JEE Mains examination.
The criteria for the selection involves
- A student to secure a valid score for JEE Mains as per the required cut-off.
- Seat allotment to be applicable for students through the JoSAA counseling process.
NRIs eligibility for NIT Durgapur admission
NIT Durgapur has reserved some seats for NRI Students under DASA / CIWG quota. A well-deserving student with a good score in JEE Main and good knowledge is eligible for NIT Durgapur admission.
