National Institute of Technology (Hamirpur) Eligibility

The students or candidates willing to take admission at NIT Hamirpur are required to fulfill a few eligibility criteria to proceed with the admission application.

Initial requirements include

1. Cleared 10+2 with a recognized board examination.
2. With Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, it should be cleared with a minimum score of 60%.

Once a student gets a valid score for applying for admission, there lies a criterion for the process of selection:

1. JEE Mains score and rank are required for admission to specialization in the B.tech program.
2. Students who apply for the JoSAA counseling are further evaluated for seat allotment on the basis of the JEE Mains score, previous academic records and seat availability.

NRIs eligibility for admission in NIT Hamirpur

They have reserved some seats for NRI Students under DASA / CIWG quota. The deserving student with a good score in JEE Main and good knowledge is eligible for NIT Hamirpur admission.
