Heritage Institute of Technology, popularly known as HITK or HIT, is a private autonomous engineering college in Anandapur, Kolkata, near the East Kolkata Township, West Bengal, India. It is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata.

Campus
Heritage Institute of Technology is built on the Heritage campus, in Anandapur on the southeastern fringes of Kolkata covering 10 acres. Along with HITK, the campus encompasses The Heritage School, Kolkata, The Heritage College, Kolkata and The Heritage Academy, Kolkata. It is a 10-minute drive from East Metropolitan Bypass (near Ruby Hospital, about 2 km away). The nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport at Dum Dum, Kolkata.

Departments in Faculty of Technology and Management
The institute offers one undergraduate course (B.Tech.) and three graduate courses (M. Tech., MBA and MCA). All courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE, Government of India and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. Since its inception, it has been affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata.

The institute also offers full-time two-year Master of Computer Application degree. Admission to the undergraduate B.Tech. courses is done through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).
