The Gateway College of Architecture and Design owes its heartfelt gratitude to Professor Anil Kumar for the initiation of this college which has today blossomed into an institution of its own. He has been the (retired) Dean at Deen Bandhu Chotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal who has also been teaching architecture here since 1975. This grand school of architecture was started with the firm intent of creating a future model school using contemporary technology as the modern teaching aid for architectural enthusiasts.

The Gateway College of Architecture and Design has been initiated by the Gateway Education & Charitable Society . GCAD offers the following courses in Architecture and Design:-

• Five year Bachelor of Architecture programme with a present intake of 120 seats.

The Gateway Education & Charitable Society has as a partner, an architect who has a strong desire of providing facilities to the young people, aspiring to lead a creative life of an architect, a platform that is based on idealistic but pragmatic thinking. The college is being guided by another architect who has a vast experience in architectural education and believes in using contemporary teaching methods for effective education. The Society has the long term plans of becoming a University offering a variety of under graduate and post-graduate courses.

Approval & Affiliations
Gateway College of Architecture and Design is affiliated to Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal (A State Technical University). The College also has the approval from the State Government of Haryana. Its B.Arch. program has been approved by the Council of Architecture.
