Aryabhatt Institute of Technology, one of the premier institutes imparting technical education under the aegis of the Directorate of Training and Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, and with a deep sense of honour and pride, I welcome you all and introduce you to the sphere of Aryabhatt Institute of Technology formerly known as Aryabhatt Polytechnic. The institute began its journey way back in 1962 as third boy’s polytechnic at kashmere gate, Delhi and shifted to the present location in the year 1980.

ABIT today stands at the threshold of a magnificent future. It has come a long way, when it was Known as the 3rd Boys Polytechnic. Today, it stands proud amongst ten govt institutes, boasting of a talented faculty of Ph.d’s , M.E./M.Tech’s etc. A highly motivated and disciplined staff wishing to make the dreams of students true through teaching and instruction. Not only diploma level, ABIT now caters to the emerging needs of the industry through B.Voc and in the days to come W.C.S.C too. Infrastructure wise, ABIT tops over most institutes. Three audio visual halls boasting of speakers, a cordless mike system, white Screens and a seating arrangement of 80 students each. Wall to wall wooden panelling improves the ambience further. Six R.O Cum Water Storage Systems. A brand new Sewer System. Four high mast lights(work in progress). A brick wall on the other two sides. A new gate on the main road (G.T. Karnal Road) for the first time ever. Both gates have been renovated. New iron gates installed with stone finishing logo of ABIT to be welded on gate soon. Sixteen toilets have been renovated. I have every hope that 2018-19 will prove to be even better in terms of institution and infrastructure due to the valiant efforts of team ABIT.
