NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) -

The exam consists of a total of 180 questions.

Subjects

The subjects covered in the exam are Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

Questions Distribution

The exam includes 45 questions in Physics and Chemistry each, while Biology comprises 90 questions with 45 questions each from Botany and Zoology.

Marking Scheme

Candidates are awarded 4 marks for each correct answer. However, 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect response (negative marking). Unanswered questions do not receive any marks or penalties.

Candidates have the option to choose from various languages, including English, Hindi, and other regional languages.

Syllabus

The syllabus for NEET-UG covers topics from the Class 11 and Class 12 curriculum in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
