KCET Reservation Matrix

Reservation:

There is a reservation criteria allowed by the KEA for the different categories. Candidates need to submit the relevant documents to claim the reservation.

Below table shows the reservation criteria of different categories:

There is also special reservation quota for the following categories:

Candidates who represented the country and won medals in Super – A Games, A-Games, B-Games during 5 year study in Karnataka (8th and 12th standard)

Scouts and Guides

Candidates who have received as “Scouts/Guides”, the “President Award” during 5 year study in Karnataka (8th and 12th standard)

Defence

Son or Daughter of Defence Personnel

Ex – Defence

Son or Daughter of Ex-Service people

Physically Handicapped

Candidates with Physical Disability, Hearing Disability or any other disabilities. The candidates will be required to appear for a Medical Test.

Anglo Indian

Candidates from Anglo Indian Community with a certificate issued by Registered Association of the Anglo Indian Community in the State of Karnataka 

Central Armed Police Force

Candidates with certificate from the Record Office of CAPF

Ex - Central Armed Police Force

Candidates with certificate from the Record Office of CAPF
 

NRI Quota:

Candidates belonging to OCI category are eligible to give the exam but there is no reservation quota for NRIs. They will have to clear the cut off and will be counted under general category.

NRI students are not eligible to appear for the exam.
