Eligibility :
Engineering Aspirants must satisfy the following criteria in order to be eligible for the KCET exam.
Eligibility For B.E / B.Tech:
- Scoring: Candidates must have passed a 10 + 2 intermediate exam or equivalent exam by a recognized examining board.
- Subjects: Applicants must have physics, chemistry, and mathematics/biology from a recognized university.
- Appearance: Candidates taking the aptitude test can also apply for KCET 2023.
Notes: Candidates must have obtained at least 45% points (40% points for the reserved category) in PCM / PCB subjects.
NRI / PIO / OCI Students' Eligibility for KCET:
NRI Students are not eligible to appear for KCET. Only OCI Students are eligible to appear for KCET. But if any of the following turns out to be true for an NRI candidate, he/she is eligible:
- If the candidate's father has a government job and he is posted in Karnataka.
- If the candidate has had some land or property in Karnataka.
- If the candidate is Grade 10th and 12th pass from Karnataka.
