This time the JEE Advanced 2022 eligibility criteria have been relaxed for all the students registered successfully for the IIT-JEE entrance examination in the year 2020 or 2021 but couldn't appear for it. Such candidates need to fulfill some eligibility conditions to appear for the exam this year.
JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria 2022
This is Important to fill all the eligibility criteria to all the candidates before filling the application form. If any of the candidates are failed to fulfill any of the eligibility criteria then the application form of the candidate is directly disqualified. Some of the general requirement to attempt JEE Advanced 2022 is given below:
- Age Limit: Students belonging to the general category must NOT have been born before October 1, 1997. There is a relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PwD). They must be born on or after October 1, 1992.
- Qualifying Examination: Students who are passed the Class 12 exam in 2021 or those who are appearing for the exam in 2022 will also be eligible for JEE Advanced.
- Qualifying JEE Main: Only the top 2.5 lakh qualified students of JEE Main will be allowed to appear for JEE Advanced 2022.
- Number of Attempts: Candidates can appear two time for JEE Advanced.
