The IIIT Pune belongs to an educational group of institutions called Indian institute of education and technology. The IIIT Pune was established in 2016 by the Ministry of Education. The IIIT Pune was declared as an institute in August 2017. It is situated in Maharashtra. The IIIt Pune was also declared as an Institute of national importance in August 2017.

They provide many engineering courses. First is bachelor of technology (B.Tech),  computer science and engineering (CSE), electronics and communications engineering. Recently the institute has also started master of technology (M.tech) and doctors of philosophy programs (PH.d).

 NRI Admission in IIIT Pune 

There is a quota for the students who live abroad but are an Indian resident and can take admission in Indian colleges through DASA.  DASA/CIWG is a quota which helps NRI students to take admission in Indian institutes. If a student who lives abroad and wants to study in India can take admission through DASA/CIWG. The students will get admission through the marks obtained in JEE main. 

Eligibility criteria for NRI Students in IIIT Pune

There are certain eligibility criteria for NRI students as well as residents in Indian boundaries to apply for IIIT Pune, they are as under-

• Candidates must complete their class 12th from a recognized board before applying for entrance exams of the University.

• Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as main subjects.

• NRI candidates have to carry their passports while the admission process.

• Students must score 60% or above in their 10+2.

Seat Availability for DASA/CIWG quota

Under the DASA quota there are some reserved seats for the NRI students. There are 1/3rd seats for CIWG students.  

NRI Admission Process in Indian Institute of Information and Technology, Pune

Fee structure and cut off for NRI Students

Students who fall under DASA or CIWA have to pay US $8000 /- which is per student per year.

DASA students are cut off for round 1 in the Under Graduation course, Cut off is based on ranks in JEE mains examination.
