JEE Advanced or (AAT) exam is conducted for B.Arch admissions in IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur. NRIs and Indian students both can take this exam in order to get admission into B. Arch.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Council has come up an AAT or Architecture Aptitude Test instead of JEE Advanced Paper-II for architecture for B.Arch admissions to IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee.
Admission to the B.Arch course is still granted on the basis of the JEE Advanced AIR, but for the distribution of seats in these two institutes, the AAT test has been made compulsory. Candidates with a valid score in JEE Advanced can register for AAT.

There are only 35 seats available in IIT Roorkee and 45 seats in IIT Kharagpur for Bachelors in Architecture (B.Arch) course and admissions are based on AAT scores. The important dates for AAT 2021 are as follows:

AAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of AAT 2021 are equivalent to those of JEE Advanced, which allows applicants to pass JEE Main first.
NRIs and Indian applicants who achieve any rank between 1 and 2,50,000 in the JEE Main Exam would be qualifying for the JEE Advanced Exam.
After qualifying for the JEE Advanced exam, those wishing to take B.Arch from either IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee can apply for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
AAT Registration Process 2021
The registration process for JEE Advanced starts for those who wish to achieve their B. Arch studies from either IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee and must be registered through the online registration link available on this website.
As there will be less time for applicants to apply for the AAT 2021 test, applicants are advised to start registration for the same as soon as the link is enabled on the official website.
Candidates do not need to send any alerts, as we will provide them with live notifications on the day of registration.

AAT 2021 Syllabus

AAT 2021 Exam Pattern
The following information will be included in the pattern of the AAT 2021 study. The test will be in English only and will take 3 hours to answer 16 questions. The details of the AAT 2021 test pattern are as follows:

- Total Allotted Time for AAT 2021: 3 Hours (180 Minutes)
- Total Number of Questions to Be Answered: 16
There are no proven exam patterns as per the previous AAT examination documents.

AAT 2021 Exam Centres
The AAT 2021 examination is going to conducted in the 7 IIT Zones in India. The 7 IIT Zones and states are:

AAT 2021 Result Declaration
The results of AAT 2021 will be released on the official website of JEE Advanced 2021. The applicant must use his/her JEE Advanced Registration username and password for logging in to the portal and see the results of AAT 2021.
It is strongly recommended that the student make a reference to the printout of the results.
In the end, the counselling and selection process for the AAT 2021 exam will be taken out by JoSAA at IIT Kharagpur or IIT Roorkee. NRIs and Indian students will be granted seats in these two institutes.

Freehand's
The applicant should have the practise of making freehand drawings and sketches without any measuring devices, such as scales or compasses. He/she should have the opportunity to use proper shades in drawings.
Geometric Drawings
The experience of students of geometric forms will be checked in this section. Applicants can focus on improving the capacity to imagine real-life objects in a given geometric form.
Creativity:
Applicants require a lot of ingenuity and innovation to work on issues relating to shapes, proportions, clearing objects AAT 2021.
