JEE Main 2021 Not in January, Application Form Will Be Out Soon, Says Vineet Joshi
Covid-19 Effect: JEE (Main) Could be Postponed to February 2021
Director of the National Testing Agency (NTA), Dr. Vineet Joshi, has announced that the first attempt of Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Main 2021 will not be conducted in the month of January.
The exam dates for JEE Main are not confirmed yet. However, NTA plans to keep it in the month of February or so. In addition, the Director also disclosed that the National Level Exam Application Forms would soon be available.
The Director made the announcement via a zoom conference. The conference took place on 24 November 2020 and the Director himself discussed the issues. He clarified that because the whole session was postponed due to a pandemic, the JEE Main 2021 Jan exam had been delayed.

Usually, the September application form for JEE Main first attempt is published and the examination is then conducted out in the month of January. However this year all the entrance exams are being postponed due to a pandemic.

The dates for the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Exam (NEET) 2021 are still uncertain. NEET is usually held on the first Sunday of May, although this time it may be postponed.
The application form of JEE Main 2021 will be published at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Forms will only be available online and applicants will have to register, fill-up the form, submit scanned documents, pay the fee to apply for JEE Main 2021. Applicants will be allowed to choose 4 exam cities of their choosing in the online form. Choices must be added to the form in order of choice.
The scanned documents required to be uploaded in the form last year for the January attempt were passport-sized photographs and signatures of the candidates.
JEE Main 2021 will take place both in India and abroad. You can also check the All JEE Exam Centers Abroad and India (Statewise).
It will be a computer-based evaluation and there will be three papers – B.E/B.Tech paper, B.Arch paper, and B.Plan paper. Candidates can opt to apply for all 3, and 2, or any 1 file. The fee for the application will vary accordingly.
The JEE Main Question Paper was written up in three languages before last year, Hindi, English and Gujarati. The examination is expected to take place this year in more regional languages, as in some reports. Know More About JEE will conduct in regional languages.
