Eligibility Criteria to Get Admission into GCOEN
For a candidate to secure a seat at GCOEN, he or she should meet the following eligibility criteria-
- The candidate applying should be acitizenofIndia.
- He/she should have compulsory subjects as physics and mathematics at the higher secondary level.
- He/she should have the optional subject, among these stated subjects-
Chemistry, biology, biotechnology, technical subject, or vocational subject.
- The candidate should meet the percentage criteria of securing a minimum of 50% for general category, securing a minimum of45% for SC/ST/Reserved categories; along with the marks in the total marks secured in 2 compulsory & one optional subject for the respective branch he/she is applying for.
- The candidate who has a Diploma in Engineering and Technology should have obtained a minimum score of 50%for general category and a minimum score of 45 % for SC/ST/Reserved categories, and disabled candidates belonging only to Maharashtra.
- The candidate those who have a B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University, which needs to be UGC affiliated, should obtain a minimum score of 50%for general category and a minimum score of 45 % for SC/ST/Reserved categories, and disabled candidates belonging only to Maharashtra.
Conclusion
Though the college is a very newly established one by the DTE and Maharashtra State Government, it encompasses a good looking fee structure and required facilities which it offers.
However, it needs to be considered that GCOEN is a developing college which is exponentially progressing every year with its campus infrastructure, the lab facility,and academic quality, while, competing with its contemporaries to be one of the best colleges both in Maharashtra and in India.
