No More Required 12th Marks For IIT JEE
The NTA will soon announce a major update. No more required 12th marks for IIT JEE. This will define the eligibility criteria for IIT JEE in a new scenario.
There are so many NRIs and Indian students who want to take admission the IITs, they only face a major drawback that they have no good marks in their 12th exam. So considering that NTA will be announced soon, the 12th mark doesn't matter if you're preparing for the IIT JEE.
Only JEE Main marks will be considered for the JEE Advanced or IIT JEE Exam. Getting good marks in JEE Main can open the way to IIT JEE (Advanced) exam.

Now IIT will be easily admitted, 12th marks will not be necessary in JEE!
Due to Coronavirus, now some relaxation can also be given in the admission process of IITs. In this case, it is being considered not to add the marks of class 12th.
Generally, the rank holder of the general category in JEE (Advanced) should have at least 75 per cent marks in the 12th or name in the top 20 percentile.
SC / ST students should have at least 65 per cent marks in the 12th examination or top 20 percentile. Only then they can get admission in IIT.
A JIC member said that there was a general consensus that this year only the rules of passing the board examination should be made for the candidates who cleared JEE Advanced. If this rule is implemented, then it will not matter how many marks have come in the 12th rank of the rank holder, it will be enough for them that they have passed the 12th standard.
At the same time, the remaining board exams of 10th-12th have been cancelled due to coronavirus. In such a situation, some rules are being considered for admission to IITs. Earlier this month, a meeting of the Joint Implementation Committee (JIC) was discussed about the Class 12 exams. All the IIT's JEE chairpersons were involved in this meeting.
During the meeting, all the chairpersons of JEE proposed that Marx's rules should be removed in Class XII this year. Because every state has taken different steps regarding board examination due to corona virus.
